Just enter the mobile number. Select the Carrier from US, Canada, UK, France, Sweden, Argentina, and also Philippines! (although only Smart telecom is the only option for Philippines). Enter in your message, and hit send message!

Some carriers charge for receiving an SMS and this could affect your recipient.
There are also other sites where you can send free sms to, but I think some of them doesn't really work.
For Philippines Carriers, we also have the Chikka website and application for the Philippine carriers. And it's free, you just have to register. Most Filipino's probably know about this already. Although there is a limit to a number of sms per carrier. And after that limit, the person you are sending sms to, may have to reply to your Chikka account in order to continue sending your sms.
As for other carriers abroad, you can use these Free Online Tools above to send sms to your friends and family for free!
There is actually an old fashion way to send sms from your email for free (for additional info). You just have to know what the email address of the carrier you are sending a text message to. These "Free SMS" sites might have the same mechanics as to sending their text messages.
If you want to try this, you can either search "send free sms from email" from your search engine, to see the email address for carriers (Note that at times these email address of some carriers sometimes change) or check out these sites:

Cnet covered an episode about how to download YouTube videos on your PC using "Kiss YouTube". Its great but you download a flash version of the YouTube video which YouTube uses Flash for videos, and you have to convert it yourself. You can do this by simply adding the word kiss on the web address of the YouTube video your watching, and you will be directed to Kiss YouTube Site to download the flash video.
An example is:

But now they have a new way to download videos thats already converted to MP4 format plus its in High-Definition! Nice!
The steps to download are:
First copy the web address or URL of the YouTube video your watching
Go to http://file2hd.com
Paste the web address on URL box
Select "Movies" on Filter
Check the box on the Agree to terms and conditions
Click "Get File"
Download the MP4 Youtube video link (Right-click on the MP4 link, and select Save Link As)

LogMeIn - Connect and Control your PC from Anywhere!
Here is another very nice find from my journey on the web! And as stated on my Web Junkie Blogger Blog, "Free Stuff on the Web", this one's free to use at LogMeIn.com. Just register and download "LogMeIn Free" to start using this great application. This has great reviews and ratings on CNET.
I saw this video on Yahoo! about a person who lost her bag filled with gadgets and electronics like her digital camera. Her digital camera uses a memory card called Eye-Fi, which automatically sends her pictures on the web when the device finds a wireless access. She got back her gadgets when it uploaded recent pictures on the web of who was using it. The last part of the video shows also how to connect your PC securely if in any case you lose it.
Thats when I remembered browsing the web and found a site that connects your pc from anywhere in the world. At first I thought this is a serious security issue where if I registered my PC and someone else might try to access my account. Like getting your computer hacked or controlled by another unauthorized person. And I wouldn't want that to happen. Im kinda always trying to secure all my accounts or files. But then again, if you trust the site hosting your Remote Access, and you have a secure Username and Password, and another Username and Password to Log in your Remote Access PC or a Computer Access Code, and you have the choice of adding what PC to add access to your account, then it's safe to use this program. Plus this is one of CNET's Editors Choice for Remote Access, which I trust CNET for their choices.
I've tried this program, and it feels like hacking on my other PC, but its not really hacking if its your own PC, but something like that. I remembered the Movie "The Matrix" where someone is controlling the computer, "The Matrix has you... Follow the White Rabbit." and the one in episode 2 of Broken Saints, where it says "I See You". You can even watch what someone is doing on the other end of your Remote Access PC if someone is using it. You can do a prank on them with this program, by controlling that PC. You can control the mouse, keyboard, access files, run programs and so on by just accessing it on your browser. But you can't transfer files between PC's, which is for the paid version. But the Free Version is just fine, especially if you don't need to transfer files that much, and you can access the other PC and send those file online.
Slydial Lets You Avoid Awkard Calls, Go Straight To Voicemail
Slydial, a new service from MobileSphere, is looking to offer users a way to avoid this situation. The service allows users to call any mobile line and go directly to voicemail, without the awkward conversation. Their phone will actually display a missed call from your original number, but they won’t have a chance to answer it.
To use the service, dial 267-SLYDIAL (267-759-3425), and enter your contact’s number (note: this isn’t a toll-free call). Slydial works with all US wireless carriers, and users can make the initial call from either landlines or mobile phones. And, if you really hate talking to people, you can make an account on the company’s website and use a contact list to leave voice messages from your computer.
Slydial seems like a service that is ripe for abuse, but it’s still great to have (I just saved it to my contacts list). Sure, it’s devious and impersonal, but at least it isn’t a text message. And voicemail is dead anyway, isn’t it?
